In a superb main event at WWE King & Queen of the Ring 2024, United States Champion Logan Paul faced off against Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. While Paul didn’t win the match, he stole the show with an insane frog splash spot and now the identity of the person behind the spot has been revealed.
The match was a thrilling spectacle, with Logan Paul once again showcasing his impressive athleticism. A highlight of the bout saw Paul execute a top rope frog splash on Cody Rhodes through the Arabic announce desk, creating a viral moment. Cody responded with a brutal Vertebreaker on the US Champion.
Paul didn’t hold back from his signature antics, bringing brass knuckles into play in a bid to win. After the referee was knocked down, Paul delivered a low blow, nearly securing the victory.
However, actor Ibrahim Al Hajjaj, who was in attendance, intervened just in time to stop Paul from using the brass knuckles. This gave Cody Rhodes the opportunity to recover and ultimately win the match with a series of Cross-Rhodes.
One particularly praised moment was Logan Paul’s frog splash through the Saudi Arabian announcer’s desk. While Paul has performed similar moves before, this one stood out due to the unique camera work, with a drone capturing a 360-degree shot of Paul before he leaped off the top rope.
Logan Paul revealed on Twitter that the drone shot was his idea, sharing a text conversation from May 10, 2023, that highlighted his innovative contribution to the match’s production.
