AEW Double Or Nothing Zero Hour Pre-Show (5/26/2024):

The AEW Double Or Nothing Zero Hour Pre-Show opens up with Renee Paquette, Jeff Jarrett and RJ City welcoming us. The panel talks about the history of AEW with this being five years and a day to the date of the first one as well as the history of wrestling in Las Vegas. The panel then talk about some of tonight’s matches and a video package airs promoting the Barbed Wire Steel Cage TNT Championship Match with Adam Copeland vs. Malakai Black.

Lexy Nair then does an interview about the Barbed Wire Steel Cage itself and how it is built for destruction. The panel then talk about the Unified AEW Trios Championship Match, where Death Triangle will challenge Bullet Club Gold for the titles. A video package for this match then airs. A video package for the FTW Championship 3-Way with Chris Jericho defending against HOOK and Katsuyori Shibata then airs. The panel then talk about the FTW Championship 3-Way Match, then send us to a video package for the Trent Beretta vs. Orange Cassidy Match.

The panel then talks about the AEW Women’s World Title Match with “Timeless” Toni Storm defending against Serena Deeb and we see a video package for the match. Video packages for several more matches on tonight’s PPV then airs and the panel discusses those matches. We then see a road to the AEW World Championship feature, with the full story leading up to tonight’s Swerve Strickland vs. Christian Cage Match.

We then get a video package for the highly-anticipated Anarchy in the Arena Match. The panel then talks about the first of two pre-show matches scheduled for tonight. We then get a video package for the Thunder Rosa vs. Deonna Purrazzo Match. Excalibur, Tony Schiavone and Matt Menard then welcomes us to the show and we get the entrances of the first match.

Singles Match: “La Mera Mera” Thunder Rosa vs. “The Virtuosa” Deonna Purrazzo

The match starts off with Purrazzo placing her boot into Rosa in the corner, but Rosa responds with a few chops and a tijeras. Rosa then follows it up with a back elbow in the corner and charges at Purrazzo, but Purrazzo nails Rosa with a back elbow of her own. Rosa then hits Purrazzo with a dropkick and a double arm drag, but Purrazzo slides out of the ring. Rosa then hits Purrazzo with a dropkick through the bottom rope, then she gets Purrazzo back inside. Purrazzo then slides back out and Rosa follows. Purrazzo then nails Rosa with a kick, then sends her crashing into the ring apron shoulder first and hits her with an overhand chop. Both women then get back inside the ring and Purrazzo puts Rosa in an arm submission. Purrazzo then continues wearing down Rosa’s arm and puts her in a submission hold once again. Purrazzo repeatedly sends Rosa’s arm bouncing off her shoulder, then locks in another submission hold. Rosa then counters with a submission of her own, but Purrazzo fights Rosa off and pins her. Rosa then kicks out and hits Purrazzo with an arm drag before Purrazzo delivers a strike on Rosa. Rosa then responds with an open palm strike and a neckbreaker, then hits Purrazzo with a dropkick and goes for a pin, but Purrazzo kicks out.

Rosa then puts Purrazzo with a roundhouse kick on the apron, then drapes her by her knees and nails her with a shoulder on her midsection. Purrazzo then goes for a pin, but Rosa kicks out. Rosa then hits Purrazzo with a forearm and goes for a pin, but Purrazzo kicks out and puts Rosa in the Fujiwara Arm Bar. Rosa then counters into a pinfall to escape and Purrazzo kicks out. Rosa then hits Purrazzo with a backstabber and locks in a submission. Purrazzo then counters into a pinfall for the win.

Commentary then runs down the card for tonight’s PPV. We then get a video package and a discussion on the next pre-show match, which features The Acclaimed and “Daddy Ass” Billy Gunn taking on “The Machine” Brian Cage and The Gates of Agony.

We then head to the back, where Lexy Nair is interviewing The Acclaimed and “Daddy Ass” Billy Gunn. The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn hype up their match against Brian Cage and the Gates of Agony. AEW President Tony Khan and Dr. Martha Hart are then introduced by Renee Paquette. They make their way out and Hart makes a special Owen Hart Cup announcement. Hart then hands the mic to Khan to make the announcement. It was announced that the Owen Hart Foundation Cup Tournament winners will get World Title shots at All In at Wembley and that the finals will be in Calgary, Alberta, Canada on July 10.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the pre-show, which is a Trios Match.

Trios Match: The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens and Max Caster) and “Daddy Ass” Billy Gunn vs. “The Machine” Brian Cage and Gates Of Agony (Toa Liona and Bishop Kaun)

The match starts off with Bishop Kaun and Max Caster. Both men go back and forth and Kaun overpowers Caster. Gunn then tags in. Cage then tags in and flexes as does Gunn. Cage then gains the upper hand. Gunn then fires up with some punches. Cage then blasts Gunn with a shot to the face. Gates of Agony then attack The Acclaimed. Both teams then brawl at ringside. Cage and the Gates of Agony then gain the upper hand and Bowens’ leg gets slammed in the steel steps. Cage and the Gates of Agony then isolate Caster. Kaun then continues to control the action. Caster then comes back with a crossbody. Liona then runs over Gunn and kicks Caster. Caster then tags Gunn, who clears house with a flurry of offense. Caster then takes the fight to Kaun, but gets double-teamed by Kaun and Cage. Gunn then gets triple-teamed, but Bowens breaks up the pin. Gunn then takes the fight to all three men. The Las Vegas Knights mascot then stops Cage from using a chair and Caster hits him with a Fameasser. Gunn then uses a cradle pin on Kaun for the win.

After the match, The Acclaimed, Daddy Ass and the mascot all celebrate and scissor in the ring.

AEW Double Or Nothing Results (5/26/2024):

The AEW Double or Nothing PPV opens up with a video package. Excalibur, Tony Schiavone and Taz then welcomes us to the show and we get the entrances of the first match of the PPV, which is the AEW International Championship Match.

AEW International Championship Match: Roderick Strong (c) vs. “The Aerial Assassin” Will Ospreay

The match starts off with Ospreay wasting no time in going after Strong. Ospreay blindsides Strong and both men brawl as the bell officially sounds. Ospreay then sends both Bennett and Taven into the timekeeper’s area, then jumps off the barricade to land on them. Ospreay then sends Strong into the ring post, then gets him back inside the ring and hits him with a backbreaker. Bennett then gets Ospreay in an Electric Chair position and Taven jumps out of the ring to nail him as Strong is being checked on by the referee.

Strong then gets Ospreay back in the ring and delivers some right hands to him on his head. Strong then puts Ospreay in a chinlock, but Ospreay fights out of the hold. Both men then exchange forearms with one another before Strong locks in another submission hold on Ospreay. Ospreay then gets his foot on the bottom rope to break the hold before he exchanges chops with Strong. Strong then hits Ospreay with a backbreaker, but Ospreay responds with a jawbreaker. Strong then hits Ospreay with a kick, but Ospreay responds with a few chops and sends Strong into the corner. Ospreay then jumps off the ropes to nail Strong, then follows it up with a boot in the corner. Taven and Bennett then distract the referee and it allows Wardlow to sneak up on Ospreay. The referee then catches Wardlow in the ring. Ospreay then hits Strong with a boot in the corner, then climbs to the top and hits Strong, Bennett and Taven with the Sky Twister on the outside. Ospreay then gets Strong back inside the ring and lands some right hand on Strong off the top. Ospreay then goes for a pin, but Strong kicks out.

Strong then delivers some chops on Ospreay, but Ospreay nails Strong with a suplex and a bodyslam. Ospreay climbs to the top, but Strong trips him and joins him on the top. Ospreay then fights Strong off, then hits him with a Sky Twister off the top. Ospreay then lands on his feet, but his injured knee gives out. Strong then puts Ospreay in the Half Boston Crab, but Ospreay fights his way out. Ospreay then makes his way over to the bottom rope to break the hold before Strong hits him with chops and forearms. Strong then sends Ospreay crashing into the mat face first, then places him on the top turnbuckle. Strong then hits Ospreay with an enzuigiri on Ospreay’s chest, then follows it up with a superplex off the top rope. Strong then gets Ospreay up on his shoulders and hits him with a backbreaker. Strong then goes for a pin, but Ospreay kicks out. Strong then runs the ropes, but Ospreay catches him and hits him with a sit-out powerbomb. Ospreay and Strong then exchange forearms with one another in the center of the ring and Ospreay hits Strong with a kick on Strong’s head. Strong then dropkicks Ospreay’s injured knee, but Ospreay responds with the Os-Cutter on Strong. Ospreay then goes for a pin, but Strong manages to get a shoulder off the mat to kick out. The referee then once again checks on Strong and Callis goes over to Ospreay to tell him to hit a Tiger Driver on Strong. Ospreay then pushes the referee out of the ring and goes for the Tiger Driver, but Strong responds with a gutbuster and a running knee. Strong then looks for a backbreaker, but Ospreay avoids it. Ospreay then hits Strong with a running forearm and a Storm Breaker for the win.

After the match, Ospreay celebrates his win. Adam Cole then makes his way down to the ring and addresses the crowd. Cole says he shouldn’t be there as he should be home and rehabbing his ankle. Cole then says nobody knows the hell that he has been through, but he still gets disrespected. Cole then calls himself one of the greatest wrestlers of this generation. Cole then says The Devil will get his due. The lights then go out and a video plays on the screen. Someone is shown walking and they enter a room with MJF’s stuff. A Burberry scarf is then shown and this person shows a picture of him and Cole. MJF then comes to the stage and walks down to the ring. Cole then opens his arm for a hug. MJF then thinks about it and they hug. MJF then kicks Cole below the belt and slams him. MJF then gets a microphone and calls Cole a son of a b***h. MJF then says somebody get this sh*tstain out of my ring. MJF then says because of Cole he is not going to trust anyone anymore. MJF then says all Cole did was wake him up as he remembers who he is. MJF then calls himself the greatest wrestler on the planet and a generational talent. MJF then says he doesn’t need a New Japan or a Vince McMahon to make him because MJF made MJF. MJF then says no more BS and love as it is all hate from now on and that means no one is safe. MJF then says he’s done apologizing and he is the best. MJF then says that compared to him all of the fans’ other favorites suck donkey d***s and nobody is on the level of The Devil.

MJF then looks at the Devil Mask and says everything that mask symbolizes can go straight to tell, then he stomps on it and throws it out into the crowd. MJF then says he has been betting on himself since day one and in regards to his contract status he is All In and he is Double or Nothing. MJF then rolls up his pant leg to reveal a tattoo of the Double or Nothing poker chip with the words “bet on yourself”. MJF then says he’s not leaving AEW, then jumps up on the turnbuckle to celebrate with the crowd.

We then get the entrances of the next match, which is the AEW Unified World Trios Championship Match.

AEW Unified World Trios Championship Match: Bang Bang Gang (“Switchblade” Jay White, Austin Gunn and Colten Gunn) vs. Death Triangle (“The Bastard” PAC, Rey Fénix and Penta El Zero Miedo)

The match starts off with Colten Gunn and PAC. PAC hits Colten with a shoulder tackle. PAC then follows it up with a hip toss before Austin Gunn tags in. PAC then hits Austin with a couple of hip toss, then sends Austin out of the ring. Penta El Zero Miedo then tags in and Penta hits a Sling Blade. Rey then tags in and Death Triangle triple teams Colten. Death Triangle then hits a triple dropkick on Colten before Penta hits Colten with a leg drop as Fenix and PAC hold him in place. Lucha Brothers then fly off the top rope at the same time to land on both The Gunns and PAC looks to fly. Jay White then stops PAC and goes for the Blade Runner, but PAC escapes. White then hits PAC with a twisting neckbreaker, then tags in Colten. Colten then stomps on PAC’s chest, then tags in Austin. Austin then sends PAC crashing into the mat, then sends him crashing into the top turnbuckle face first. White then tags in and nails PAC with a chop, then goes for a pin. PAC then gets his foot on the bottom rope to break the hold.

White then continues wearing PAC down, but PAC fights back. White then sends PAC into the bottom rope, then puts him in a Half Boston Crab. PAC then escapes before Colten tags back in. PAC then delivers some stomps on him, then Austin is tagged in. The Gunns then look to double team PAC, but PAC makes the tag out to Penta. Penta then hits chops on both Gunns, then tags in Fenix. Penta then hits a backstabber and an assisted flapjack with Fenix. White then tags in and Fenix nails White with an enzuigiri, then tags in Penta. Penta then sends White crashing into the mat, then tags in PAC. PAC then nails White with a series of kicks on White’s midsection, but White responds with a chop. PAC then hits White with a German suplex, but Austin slides in the ring to nail him with a clothesline. Penta then hits Austin with a Canadian Destroyer, but Colten blasts Penta. Fenix then takes Colten down and hits him with a dropkick on his spine, but White blasts him. PAC then nails White with a kick, then climbs to the top and looks to fly. Colten then catches him, but PAX nails Colten with a German suplex and hits one on Austin. Fenix and Penta then hit the double stomp-package piledriver combination. PAC then climbs to the top, but Juice Robinson appears out of nowhere and pushes him off the top rope. White then hits PAC with a Blade Runner for the win.

After the match, the Bang Bang Gang celebrates.

We then get the entrances of the next match, which is an AEW Women’s World Championship Match.

AEW Women’s World Championship Match: “Timeless” Toni Storm (c) vs. “The Professor” Serena Deeb

The match starts off with Deeb putting Storm in a wrist lock, then sitting on her and hitting her with a dropkick to the back of her legs. Storm then hits Deeb with a forearm on Deeb’s chest, then follows it up with a Hip Attack that sends Deeb crashing to the outside. Storm then gets Deeb back in the ring, but Deeb knocks Storm back out of the ring and hits her with a neckbreaker. Deeb then gets Storm back inside and pins her, but Storm kicks out. Deeb then puts Storm in an Octopus before transitioning into an Abdominal Stretch. Storm then escapes by hitting a hip toss on Deeb, but Deeb responds with a couple of Dragon Screws on Storm. Deeb then looks to land a third one, but Storm counters into a pinfall. Deeb then reverses into a pin of her own, but Storm kicks out. Both women then try to take turns pinning one another.

Storm then nails Deeb with the double knees to Deeb’s spine, then follows it up with a DDT and a Northern Lights suplex. Deeb then goes for a cross arm bar, but Storm blocks it and puts Deeb in a Cloverleaf. Deeb then makes her way over to the bottom rope to break the hold, but Deeb sends Storm crashing into the turnbuckles spine first. Deeb then repeatedly slaps Storm, then sends Storm crashing into the mat and hits Storm with a clothesline in the corner. Deeb then hits Storm with a twisting neckbreaker using the middle rope, then follows it up with a kick to her midsection and a swinging neckbreaker. Deeb then hits Storm with a German suplex, then sends her crashing into the mat. Deeb and Storm then slap each other and Deeb hits Storm with an uppercut. Deeb then goes for a pin, but Storm kicks out and hits Deeb with a sit-out powerbomb. Deeb then looks to roll up Storm, but transitions into a Half Boston Crab. Storm then escapes with a series of kicks, but Deeb hits a kick of her own on Storm and sends Storm’s knee crashing into the mat. Deeb then puts Storm in the Half Boston Crab once again.

Mariah May then looks to grab the white towel from Luther to throw it into the ring, but Luther prevents her from doing so. Storm then escapes the Half Boston Crab by sliding under the bottom rope, then grabs the towel and tosses it out into the crowd. Storm then hits Deeb with a German suplex and charges at her, but Deeb flips Storm off. Storm then hits Deeb with the Storm Zero and goes for a pin, but Deeb kicks out. Deeb then hits Storm with three Dragon Screws using the middle rope, then hits a Detox on the apron. Deeb then gets Storm back in the ring and hits her with a second Detox. Deeb then goes for a pin, but Storm kicks out. Deeb and Storm then teeter on the ropes and Storm sends Deeb crashing into the mat off the ropes. Storm then follows it up with the Storm Zero for the win.

After the match, Toni Storm celebrates her successful title defense on the ramp and Mariah May joins her.

We then get the entrances of the next match, which is a Singles Match.

Singles Match: Trent Beretta vs. “Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy

The match starts off with both men wasting no time in delivering some right hands on one another. Cassidy and Beretta then exchange forearm shots with one another before Beretta blasts Cassidy and hits him with a chop in the corner. Cassidy then sends Beretta face first into adjacent turnbuckles repeatedly, then climbs to the top and hits him with a crossbody. Cassidy then follows it up with a Tornado DDT that sends Beretta crashing to the outside, then jumps on Beretta to land on him. Cassidy then delivers some right hands on Beretta on the outside, but Beretta rakes Cassidy’s eyes and sends his arm crashing off the ring apron. Beretta then mocks Cassidy, then joins him back inside the ring and delivers some right hands on him. Beretta then hits Cassidy with a German suplex, but Cassidy responds with a few back elbows. Beretta then hits Cassidy with another German suplex.

Beretta then hits Cassidy with a Saito suplex as Cassidy stands on the middle apron, then he follows it up with another German suplex. Beretta then hits Cassidy with a series of forearms, then follows it up with strikes in the corner. Cassidy then hits Beretta with a missile dropkick to send him crashing in the corner, then follows it up with another dropkick and a number of his signature kicks. Cassidy then hits Beretta with a second dropkick and climbs to the top. Cassidy then goes for a missile dropkick on Beretta on the apron, but Beretta prevents him from doing so and nails Cassidy with a Gotch style piledriver. Beretta then gets on top of the ring steps and looks to fly, but Cassidy trips him and hits him with the Beach Break. The referee then begins a ten count, but both men beat it. Cassidy then looks to hug Beretta, but he ducks out of the way at the last second and hits a Michinoku Driver. Cassidy then hits Beretta with a running kick to Beretta’s face, then goes for then Stun Dog Millionaire. Beretta then avoids the move and Cassidy goes for it again. Beretta then once again avoids it and blasts Cassidy, then follows it up with the Dude-buster. Beretta then goes for a pin, but Cassidy kicks out. Beretta then charges at Cassidy, but Cassidy nails Beretta with then Beach Break and goes for a pin. Beretta then kicks out and Cassidy goes for the Orange Punch. Beretta then counters it into a Triangle hold, but Cassidy reverses it into a pinfall for the win.

After the match, Beretta storms up the ramp. Rocky Romero joins Beretta and Renee Paquette looks to get a word with Beretta, but Beretta says he is not doing this, then he shoves Romero out of the way and storms through the crowd.

We then get the entrances of the next match, which is an FTW Championship FTW Rules 3-Way Match.

FTW Championship FTW Rules 3-Way Match: “The Learning Tree” Chris Jericho (c) vs. HOOK vs. Katsuyori Shibata

The match starts off with Jericho going after HOOK. Shibata then nails Jericho with a few chops, but Jericho hits Shibata with one of his own. HOOK then hits Jericho with a German suplex and Shibata with a T-Bone suplex, then pulls a table out from under the ring and sets it up between the ring and the commentary desk. HOOK then begins brawling with Jericho, but Shibata knocks them both off the apron. HOOK then sends Shibata crashing into the barricade and Jericho hits HOOK with a suplex. Jericho then grabs a bag from under the ring, then holds it up and gets back in the ring. Jericho then reveals the contents of the bag and it is a whole bunch of dice, but HOOK suplexes Jericho on top of the dice. Shibata then suplexes Jericho again on top of the dice, then throws them at Jericho as HOOK does the same. HOOK and Shibata then hit Jericho with a double suplex on top of the dice and HOOK suplexes Shibata on top of the dice. Shibata then does the same to HOOK.

HOOK then grabs a kendo stick out from under the ring as Shibata does the same from another side of the ring. Jericho then grabs a kendo stick of his own and all three men take turns hitting each other with the kendo sticks. HOOK and Shibata then both hit Jericho with the kendo sticks and each take a shot at his midsection. Shibata then blasts HOOK and grabs the table from under the ring. Shibata then sets it up in the corner, but Jericho nails him from behind. HOOK then hits Jericho with a Northern Lights suplex on the dice, then places him up on the table in the corner and climbs to the top. Shibata then meets him up there and Shibata sends HOOK crashing on top of Jericho and the table. Jericho then sets up the table in the corner, but he is sent crashing through it. Shibata then puts Jericho in a heel submission and puts HOOK in an Ankle Lock. HOOK then escapes and blasts Shibata, but Jericho nails HOOK with a codebreaker and goes for a pin. HOOK then kicks out and goes for the Redrum.

Big Bill then makes his way down and breaks the hold, then delivers some right hands on HOOK. Bill then looks to chokeslam HOOK through the table, but HOOK prevents him from doing so and nails Bill with a T-Bone suplex through the table. Jericho then puts Shibata in the Lion Tamer, but Shibata escapes and puts Jericho in a Figure Four Leg Lock. HOOK then slides in the ring and puts Jericho in the Redrum at the same time, but a masked individual dressed in all black and a purple makes his way down to the ring to break the holds with a garbage can. He then sticks the garbage can on top of Shibata, then hits a senton. He then takes the mask off to reveal himself to be Bryan Keith. HOOK then takes a couple of shots at Keith with a kendo stick. Jericho then hits HOOK with a Judas Effect, then pins Shibata for the win.

After the match, HOOK tries to chase Jericho, but security guards run down and HOOK blasts them all. HOOK then storms to the back.

We then get the entrances of the next match, which is an IWGP World Heavyweight Championship Eliminator Match.

IWGP World Heavyweight Championship Eliminator Match: Blackpool Combat Club’s IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Jon Moxley vs. Konosuke Takeshita

The match starts off with both men wasting no time in going after one another. Both men then take shots at one another in the corner before Takeshita nails Moxley and begins targeting his injured fingers and bandaged up arm. Takeshita then sends Moxley crashing into the mat, then climbs to the middle rope. Moxley then knocks Takeshita off and onto the apron with a forearm, then looks to plant him on the apron. Takeshita then sends Moxley’s arm crashing into the apron, then rips Moxley’s bandages off his arm and chokes him with them. Moxley then sends Takeshita into a chair on the outside, then delivers some right hands on him and bites him. Takeshita then does the same and stomps on Moxley’s arm, then sends him crashing into the ring steps arm first and sends him back in the ring before following him.

Moxley then hits Takeshita with some chops, but Takeshita responds with a forearm on Moxley. Takeshita then hits Moxley with a modified bulldog, sending his arm crashing into the mat first and follows it up with a brainbuster. Takeshita and Moxley then deliver some forearms on one another and Moxley repeatedly headbutts Takeshita. Moxley then follows it up with a cutter on Takeshita, but Takeshita responds with an arm submission on Moxley to wear his arm down even more. Takeshita then powerbombs Moxley and puts Moxley in another arm submission. Moxley then hits Takeshita with a tope suicida on the outside to land on him, then sends Takeshita back in the ring. Moxley then hits Takeshita with a clothesline, but Takeshita sends Moxley crashing into the mat and follows it up with a Saito suplex. Takeshita then goes for the jumping knee, but Moxley counters with a DDT. Both men then exchange strikes once again before Takeshita hits Moxley with the jumping knee and goes for a pin, but Moxley kicks out. Takeshita then sends Moxley crashing into the ring post shoulder first, then follows it up with a forearm strike. Takeshita then grabs three chairs from under the ring, then tosses them into the ring. Moxley then sends Takeshita crashing into one of the chairs with a stomp, then follows it up with the Death Rider for the win.

AEW TNT Championship Barbed Wire Steel Cage Match: “The Rated R Superstar” Adam Copeland (c) vs. House Of Black’s Malakai Black

The match starts off with both men wasting no time in going after one another. Both men then try hitting each other with chairs before Copeland hits Black with a flapjack and follows it up with a boot. Copeland then grabs a piece of barbed wire and jams it into Black’s head in the corner. Black then looks to send Copeland into a barbed wire wrapped around one of the turnbuckles face first, but Copeland stops him and powerbombs Black into the side of the steel cage. Copeland then sends Black into the mat with an elevated flatliner and charges at Black, but Black intercepts him with a kick. Black then looks to send Copeland into a barbed wire wrapped around the one of the turnbuckles, but Copeland lands on the ropes. Black then trips Copeland and sends him crashing into the barbed wire face first.

Black then nails Copeland with a round kick on Copeland’s head, then grabs a bat wrapped with barbed wire. Black then jams the bat into Copeland’s forehead, then stomps on Copeland’s chest and places him on top of a chair. Black then grabs the bat wrapped in barbed wire and looks to hit Copeland with it, but Copeland moves out of the way and grabs the bat. Copeland then hits Black with it in the midsection and jams it into Black’s forehead as he presses the rest of his face into the side of the steel cage. Copeland then sets up a table wrapped in barbed wire and places Black on top of it, then climbs up the side of the steel cage. Black then trips Copeland on the top rope, then joins him on the middle rope and jams his head into the side of the steel cage. Black then powerbombs Copeland through the table. Copeland then spears Black and goes for a pin, but Black kicks out. Copeland then hits Black with a stalling piledriver, then places him on top of a second table. Copeland then wraps barbed wire around Black, then climbs to the top of the cage. Copeland then hits Black with an elbow drop that sends Black crashing through the table. Copeland then goes for the spear, but Black counters with The End and goes for a pin. Copeland then kicks out and Black grabs some barbed wire and hits Copeland with it, then follows it up with kicks on Copeland’s chest.

Black then kicks Copeland through the cage door and follows him outside. Copeland then hits Black with a spear as Buddy Matthews and Brody King make their way down to the ring. King and Matthews then stand by Copeland and King blasts Copeland, while Matthews delivers some right hands on him. They then send Copeland back inside the cage and follow him and Matthews delivers some right hands on Copeland’s head. King then wraps barbed wire around Copeland as Black puts Copeland’s wedding ring around his neck. They then place a barbed wire crown on Copeland. The lights then turn red and King goes over to one side of the ring to investigate. Gangrel then emerges from underneath the ring and he spits mist on both King and Matthews, then hits DDT on them both. Black then nails Gangrel, but Copeland hits Black with a spear. Copeland then puts Black in a crossface using a piece of barbed wire and Black passes out.

After the match, Copeland takes his wedding ring back from Black. Copeland then celebrates with Gangrel and they embrace.

We then head to the back, where Lexy Nair is interviewing Don Callis. Callis says it was a mixed bag tonight for The Family, but it was still a great night. Callis then says it has never been brighter. Callis then put over Orange Cassidy and says he has a scoop. Callis then says this Wednesday on Dynamite he is presenting Cassidy with a contract to the Don Callis Family.

We then get the entrances of the next match, which is an AEW TBS Championship Match.

AEW TBS Championship Match: Willow Nightingale (c) vs. Mercedes Moné

The match starts off with Nightingale wasting no time in going after Moné. Nightingale charges at Moné in the corner, then sends her crashing out of the ring and chases her back in. Moné then delivers some strikes on Nightingale as soon as she gets back in the ring, then hits her with a double arm drag and goes for a pin. Nightingale then kicks out and Moné looks for a second double arm drag, but Nightingale blocks it and hits a chop on Moné in the corner. Moné then sends Nightingale crashing to the outside through the middle rope, then looks to jump off the apron to land on her. Nightingale then hits Moné with a boot and Moné looks to hit Nightingale with a dropkick under the bottom rope. Nightingale then sees her coming and powerbombs Moné onto the ring apron. Both women then get back inside the ring and Nightingale hits Moné with a Brainbuster. Nightingale then gets Moné on her shoulders and sends her crashing into the mat. Nightingale then ends up draped from the middle rope by her ankles and Moné stomps on one of them. Moné then hits Nightingale with a chop block to the injured ankle before she puts Nightingale in a Knee Bar.

Nightingale then delivers some chops on Moné while Moné still has the hold locked in, but Moné responds with kicks. Moné then sends Nightingale’s injured ankle into the mat, then follows it up with a Dragon Screw and puts Nightingale in an Ankle Lock. Moné then hits Nightingale with a backstabber and puts her in a modified Abdominal Stretch. Nightingale then escapes and puts Moné in an Ankle Lock. Moné then escapes and sends Nightingale crashing into the turnbuckle before Nightingale hits Moné with a standing Hip Attack in the corner. Nightingale then hits Moné with clothesline and goes for a pin, but Moné kicks out. Moné then hits a knee to Nightingale’s head, but Nightingale sends Moné crashing into the mat spine first. Nightingale then hits Moné with a suplex and goes for a pin, but Moné kicks out. Nightingale then places Moné on the top rope and joins her up there, but Moné pulls Nightingale down and hits her with a powerbomb and goes for a pin, but Nightingale kicks out. Moné then puts Nightingale in a Figure Four Leg Lock.

Nightingale then makes her way over to the bottom rope to break the hold and Moné looks to jump off the rope to land on Nightingale on the apron. Nightingale then moves out of the way, then sends Moné crashing into the ring apron spine first. Nightingale then puts Moné in a Cloverleaf, but Moné escapes with a head scissors. Nightingale then sends Moné crashing into the bottom turnbuckle before Moné climbs to the middle rope and hits a meteora. Moné then goes for a pin, but Nightingale kicks out. The action then spills out of the ring and Moné hits a meteora on Nightingale off the ring apron. Statlander then cheers Nightingale on, but gets into a verbal confrontation with Moné. Nightingale then hits the Doctor Bomb on Moné and pins her, but the referee doesn’t see the fall as she is arguing with Statlander and Moné kicks out. Moné then puts Nightingale in a crossface, but Nightingale makes her way over to the bottom rope to break the hold. Moné then climbs to the top, but Nightingale joins her up there. Moné then pushes Nightingale off, then gets her up on her back and hits her with the Moné Maker for the win.

After the match, Statlander checks on Nightingale in the ring as Stokely Hathaway stands by and Moné heads to the back. Statlander then helps Nightingale up and Hathaway gets in Nightingale’s face for losing. Statlander then shoves Hathaway. Statlander then sends Nightingale crashing into the floor and tosses her friendship bracelet from Nightingale on top of her as Hathaway smiles. Statlander then hits Nightingale with a clothesline and stands tall, showing off her bicep as Hathaway joins her.

We then get the entrances of the next match, which is an AEW World Championship Match.

AEW World Championship Match: Swerve Strickland (c) vs. “The Patriarch” Christian Cage

The match starts off with Strickland and Christian taking turns in hitting each other with right hands before Strickland hits Christian with a shoulder tackle and steps over Christian. Christian then sends Strickland crashing into the mat, then delivers some right hands on his head. Strickland then hits Christian with a kick off the apron, then climbs to the top rope and looks to fly. Christian then moves out of the way and Strickland is sent crashing into the barricade. Christian then sends Strickland crashing into another barricade shoulder first, then sends his face bouncing off the apron and nails him with a series of chops. Christian then gets Strickland back in the ring and jams his boot into the back of Strickland’s neck, then puts him in a submission hold. Christian then hits Strickland with a DDT out of the corner, then climbs to the top rope and nails him with a Frog Splash. Christian then goes for a pin, but Strickland kicks out. Christian then delivers some right hands on Strickland, but Strickland sends him into the corner crashing face first. Christian then climbs to the top rope, but Strickland joins him up there. Christian then pulls Strickland down and hits him with a Sunset Flip, but Strickland responds with a powerslam and goes for a pin and Christian kicks out.

Strickland then hits Christian with a back elbow off the middle rope, then follows it up with a couple of twisting neck breakers and sends Christian onto the apron. Strickland then hits Christian with a third twisting neckbreaker through the middle rope and jumps over the top to land on him on the outside. Strickland then gets Christian back in the ring and climbs to the top. Strickland then hits a splash on Christian, but Christian responds by putting Strickland in a Sharpshooter. Strickland then escapes and pins Christian, but Christian kicks out. Mother Wayne then looks to hand Christian the AEW World Championship, but Prince Nana grabs it away from her. Nick Wayne then points out to the referee that Nana is holding the title and the referee ejects him from ringside. Killswitch and Nick then beat Strickland down on the outside as Christian distracts the referee. They then get Strickland back in the ring and Christian pins him, but Strickland kicks out. Christian then whispers something to Mother Wayne and the referee interrogates her. Killswitch then looks to nail Strickland as Christian holds him in place, but Strickland ducks out of the way and Killswitch accidentally hits Christian. Strickland then hits a stomp on Killswitch and a back body drop to Nick on the outside. Strickland then climbs to the top and goes for the Swerve Stomp, but Christian avoids the move and hits Strickland with a spear.

Nick then distracts the referee and Christian holds Strickland in place as Killswitch looks to nail him. The referee then catches Killswitch and ejects Nick, Mother Wayne and Killswitch from ringside. Strickland then sends Christian into the mat, then hits him with a vertical suplex on the outside and moves the ring steps away from its usual position. Christian then looks to send Strickland crashing into the ring steps, but Strickland prevents him from doing so. Both men then get back in the ring and Christian hits Strickland with an enzuigiri to Strickland’s face. Strickland then hits Christian with a chop, then flies to send him crashing to the outside. Christian then moves out of the way and sends Strickland to the floor. The referee then catches Christian exposing the top turnbuckle, opening the door for Nick Wayne to return and hit Wayne’s World on Strickland. Nick then gets Strickland back in the ring and Christian hits the Killswitch on Strickland. Christian then goes for a pin, but Strickland kicks out. Nana then chases Nick away from ringside and to the back with a steel pipe in hand. Christian then clears the Spanish announce desk and places Strickland on top of it. Christian then looks to hit the Killswitch, but Strickland avoids the move and hits Christian with the Swerve Stomp on top of the announce desk. Both men then get back inside the ring and Christian goes for the Killswitch. Strickland then escapes and Christian rolls him up. Strickland then kicks out and looks for House Call, but Christian evades the move. Strickland then climbs to the top and hits the Swerve Stomp, then follows it up with the House Call for the win.

The Elite then makes their way down to the ring for the main event, which is the Anarchy In The Arena Match. Bryan Danielson and FTR then blindside The Elite on the ramp. Darby Allin’s music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring.

Anarchy In The Arena Match: The Elite (AEW Continental Champion “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada, “Scapegoat” Jack Perry and AEW World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson and Nicholas Jackson)) vs. Team AEW (“The American Dragon” Bryan Danielson, Darby Allin and FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood))

The match starts off with Jack Perry jamming his knee into Allin’s face, while Allin wears a mask covered in thumb tacks. Allin then jams his knee into Perry’s face as Matthew Jackson grabs a mic and tells the production to cut Allin’s music. Matthew then calls for The Elite’s new theme music to be played instead as everyone continues brawling and Danielson grabs the mic. Danielson then calls for the greatest theme song in wrestling history to be played and The Final Countdown begins playing. Danielson then sends Kazuchika Okada into the crowd and Dax Harwood brawls with Matthew up the stairs. Harwood then sends Matthew’s head bouncing off a Culture Steak table as Okada and Danielson brawl through the crowd. Harwood then takes a break, then tosses a trash can on top of Matthew. Allin then hits a Coffin Drop off one of the entrance tunnels to everyone except Harwood and Matthew. Danielson then delivers some right hands on Okada as they climb up the stairs. Allin then brawls with Perry as Matthew delivers some right hands on Harwood in the middle of the crowd. Cash Wheeler and Nicholas Jackson then brawl in the ringside area as Wheeler hits Nicholas with a trash can. Matthew then grabs a mic and calls for production to cut off The Final Countdown.

Allin and Perry then brawl backstage as Nicholas and Wheeler brawl near the commentary desk. Okada then hits an uppercut on Danielson and grabs a Rainmaker Drive street sign. Okada then jumps over the barricade to land on Danielson. Perry and Allin then brawl outside the arena near the production trucks. Allin then dunks Perry in an ice bath, but Perry grabs a steel pipe from a pile of trash and hits Allin with it in his midsection. Perry then chokes Allin with the pipe as The Young Bucks send Wheeler out of the ring near four chairs set up on the outside and hit Harwood with the Shatter Machine. Danielson is then sent crashing into the corner and The Young Bucks look to triple team him with Okada. Danielson then moves out of the way and The Elite are sent crashing into one another.

Danielson then looks to fly out of the ring to land on Okada, but Okada grabs a chair and Danielson is sent crashing into it. Nicholas then throws the chair at Danielson as a bus with Scapegoat written on the top of it runs into the pile of trash that Allin is supposedly trapped in. Perry is then knocked out as Matthew beats Harwood down with a chair back inside the ring. FTR then hits Nicholas with an assisted piledriver on the apron and Harwood climbs to the top to join Matthew. Harwood then hits Matthews with a superplex and Wheeler follows it up with a Frog Splash off the top. Wheeler then pins Matthew, but Okada breaks the fall. Okada then hits a dropkick on Harwood, then follows it up with a shoulder breaker and an elbow drop off the top rope. Okada then flips off the crowd, but Wheeler bites his middle finger and snaps it. Okada then hits a dropkick on Wheeler, then follows it up with a Tombstone. Allin then reemerges at ringside and begins going after Okada. Allin then hits Okada with a headbutt and a Code Red, then goes for a pin, but Okada kicks out.

Allin then runs the ropes, but The Young Bucks trip him and nail him with a double powerbomb on top of the four chairs on the outside. They then drag Allin up the ramp as they call for their entrance platform to be raised. They then place Allin on top of it and call for it to be lowered. Production then does so, but Danielson joins The Bucks on the ramp and delivers some right hands to them. Nicholas then throws Danielson off the stage near a pile of giant poker chips and Matthew sends Danielson crashing face first into them. The Bucks then hit a TK Driver on Danielson on top of the poker chip pile before Nicholas sends Wheeler crashing into the pile and Harwood nails Matthew with a DDT on top of them. FTR and The Bucks then brawl on the ramp and Matthew nails Harwood with a superkick. Wheeler then hits a superkick on Matthew. Wheeler then grabs a table from the back and sets it up on the ramp. Okada then hits a DDT on Wheeler on the top of the ramp, then places him on top of the table as Nicholas climbs up the entrance tunnel. Okada then hits an elbow drop on Wheeler off a stage piece and Nicholas follows it up with a senton atomico.

Perry then finds Tony Khan backstage and drags him away from his position. Allin then reemerges with a flame thrower as Perry appears on the ramp with Khan. Allin then sets Perry on fire, but The Young Bucks extinguish it and medical officials immediately appear to check on Perry. The Bucks then send Allin back in the ring and Nicholas grabs a garbage can from under the ring as Matthew takes off Allin’s mask. Nicholas then climbs to the top and Matthew sticks Allin’s head on top of the trash can. He then holds it in place, but Allin moves out of the way at the last second and Nicholas collides with the trash can. Okada then goes for the Rainmaker on Allin, but Allin low blows him and hits him with the Coffin Drop off the top. Allin then goes for a pin, but The Young Bucks break the fall. The Bucks then send Allin colliding with the trash can as a winch lowers down from the ceiling. The Bucks and Okada then tie the winch around Allin’s legs and Harwood nails Okada with a Brainbuster. Harwood then clotheslines Matthew out of the ring before he and Wheeler hit Nicholas with the Shatter Machine. Matthew then hits Harwood with an exploding chair and Nicholas nails Wheeler with a superkick. Okada then grabs an arm sleeve covered in thumb tacks and puts it on his arm, then his the Rainmaker on Wheeler.

Okada then grabs a box of The Elite’s new shoes from under the ring covered in thumb tacks on the bottom and The Young Bucks each put one on. Allin is then lifted up by the winch on the orders of The Bucks, but Allin bites Nicholas. Okada then intervenes and The Bucks hit a double superkick on Allin with the shoes covered in thumb tacks. Danielson then slides into the ring, but The Elite intercepts him. Danielson then hits the Busaiku Knee on Okada, then grabs Matthew’s thumb tack covered show off his foot. Danielson then hits him and Nicholas with it, then nails some Yes Kicks on The Bucks. Danielson then stomps on Matthew’s face, then grabs a chair and hits the Busaiku Knee on Nicholas using the chair. Danielson then goes for a pin, but Okada breaks the fall. As Allin still hangs from the winch, Okada hits the Rainmaker on Danielson and The Bucks follows it up with the EVP Trigger. Danielson then looks to lower Allin from the winch, but Perry hits a running knee on Danielson for the win.
