Randy Orton commands respect not only from wrestling enthusiasts but also from the entire industry as well, even if not everyone is a huge fan of him. The Viper is no stranger to setting milestones and breaking streaks and it appears he will be ending a 3-year streak at King and Queen of The Ring.

The Viper is heading to the finals of the King of the Ring tournament, where he will face Monday Night Raw’s GUNTHER. Orton earned his place in the finals by defeating AJ Styles, Carmelo Hayes, and Tama Tonga. Meanwhile, GUNTHER secured his spot with victories over Sheamus, Kofi Kingston, and ‘Main Event’ Jey Uso.

Though Orton is renowned as a singles competitor, his recent appearances at Premium Live Events have been in tag team action. The upcoming final will be his first singles Premium Live match in over three years. Orton’s last singles Premium Live match was a win against ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 37 in April 2021.

GUNTHER is also confident he will be able to take out The Apex Predator. It remains to be seen whether The Apex Predator will be able to defeat The Ring General and earn a shot at Cody Rhodes’ Undisputed WWE Championship, as Triple H has already confirmed the winner would be granted World Title shot.
