Giulia Poised to Surpass Asuka’s Impact in WWE NXT

Giulia had the wrestling world buzzing after her memorable debut at NXT Stand & Deliver last month. Fans were eagerly anticipating her WWE performances, but her competition will be delayed due to a wrist injury. Despite this setback, she is expected to make an even greater impact on NXT than Asuka.

Giulia suffered a fractured wrist injury earlier this week and this made fans incredibly sad as they realized she wouldn’t be making her in-ring debut against Roxanne Perez at NXT Heatwave on July 7. Even then, it is quite clear the company has high expectations for the Japanese Superstar.

According to a report by Fightful Select, it was noted that NXT sources have consistently indicated that Giulia will be positioned as the leading female figure of the brand upon her arrival, with one source expecting she will exceed the impact that Asuka had during her tenure in NXT.

“Those in NXT that we spoke to continue to push that Giulia will be presented as the female face of the brand upon her arrival, with one source expecting her to surpass what Asuka achieved in NXT during her run.”

We have already reported that Giulia’s in-ring return is in limbo at the moment. It remains to be seen whether Giulia will have more impact than Asuka in NXT, as The Empress of Tomorrow was an undefeated goddess of destruction during her NXT tenure.
