Sting and Darby Allin captured the AEW Tag Team Championships, and they defended their titles against The Young Bucks at AEW Revolution. The match was nothing short of incredible and featured a harrowing moment involving Darby Allin.

At the AEW Revolution pay-per-view’s main event, Sting and Darby Allin successfully defended their AEW World Tag Team Titles against The Young Bucks. The match, filled with callbacks and emotional moments, created a memorable experience for the fans in attendance. Ultimately, Sting and Darby Allin retained their titles, marking Sting’s retirement with an undefeated record.

During the match, one of the most talked about and grueling sights was Darby Allin diving off the ladder and landing on a glass table, that had sent shockwaves across the entire arena who witnessed it.

While speaking to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Darby Allin talked about the aforementioned spot and stated that it was awesome for him and revealed he had a hole in his side.

The glass in Sting’s last match. When I jumped off the ladder and went through the glass. The referee came up to me, ‘Darby, you good?’ ‘Yeah, that was awesome.’ They’re like, ‘S***, you’re not good. You have a hole in your side.’ ‘What?’ I felt fine. He was like, ‘No, you have a hole in your side.’ I told him, ‘I literally have one more spot in this match.’ We also had a plan B. I told everybody in the match, ‘There is a plan B if, for whatever reason, I cannot finish this match because of this stunt. We have a plan B for the finish.’ Besides the hole in my side. I felt fine. I didn’t know there was a hole in my side.”

Darby Allin also required multiple stitches following the horrific spot. Darby Allin is set to compete in the Anarchy In The Arena match at AEW Double or Nothing on May 25, and he admitted he hasn’t even taken a bump before the pay-per-view. Only time will tell if he will end up doing a crazy spot as he did at AEW Revolution this time around.
