Bayley Names AEW Star She Aspires to Face in the Future

The WWE Women’s Champion Bayley has been off the roof with her work in the women’s division for months now. Being one among the four horsewomen of the company, Bayley is one among the very few women who have managed to elevate the women’s wrestling industry to a whole new level. 

While Bayley has faced every single star that she could to make a name for herself, she has been enhancing young talent a lot lately. Her recent work with Damage CTRL is just an example. However, being on WWE waters the whole time, the Role Model has not faced a lot of new talent that have risen to prominence outside of WWE. 

Bayley sat in an interview with Bernard Colas recently when she was asked about a name outside of WWE that she wanted to face. The Role Model named AEW star Kris Statlander as a potential opponent. Not only that, but Bayley also stated that Statlander reminded her a lot of Rhea Ripley in terms of her athleticism. 

“I really like Kris Statlander. I think she’s just freaking so athletic. She kind of reminds me of like Rhea Ripley. You know or like it seems like she can do everything so I’d be interested to get in the ring someday.”

While Bayley vs Kris Statlander is a dream match that might not happen anytime soon, a potential showdown between both women could easily be called the main event of any PLE. With the incredible talent both women possess, it would be interesting to see how things end up when both women get in the ring together.
