Bayley is the current WWE Women’s Champion after beating Iyo Sky for the title at WrestleMania 40, but she is no stranger to winning lots of titles in her career. However, a former WWE writer believes she doesn’t belong in WWE.

During an episode of UnSkripted, Vince Russo criticized the current WWE roster, stating that only 10% are true professionals. He named Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, Gunther, and AJ Styles as examples of those who meet his standards. In contrast, he singled out Liv Morgan, Indi Hartwell, and Candice LeRae as unfit for prime-time television.

“When I put on Raw, I am just seeing a lot of people who I feel do not belong,” Russo said.

One of those people Russo feels doesn’t belong is WWE Women’s Champion Bayley. Despite her successful career and the support of many fans, Russo criticized her ability to cut promos, suggesting she lacks the “it” factor.

“Bro, when you watch a Bayley promo, she should not be at that level after ten years,” said Russo. “And if you are not cutting a believable promo in ten years, and it sounds like a ‘wrestling promo,’ you are not good at what you do. And you probably shouldn’t be doing it. And there are at least 50 Bayleys running around the WWE right now.”

Bayley is set to square off against Chelsea Green on this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown in Saudi Arabia, so she has that to think about instead of what her detractors have to say in the end.
