Former WWE Superstar Ryback has become one of the most controversial figures in pro wrestling. One of his most notable feuds in recent years has been with WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry. Recently, Ryback has reached out to Henry, seeking a face-to-face meeting to resolve their past issues.
During their time in WWE, Ryback and Mark Henry had financially successful matches. However, their professional relationship soured when Ryback expressed negative sentiments about Henry following disparaging remarks Henry made about him.
Ryback has previously lashed out at Mark Henry and claimed to have received death threats as a result of their feud. In a recent move, Ryback took to Twitter to tag Henry, begging him to meet in person when Henry is in Las Vegas, presumably for AEW Double or Nothing.
“Hey @TheMarkHenry definitely hit me up when you’re in Vegas. Not once have you done so prior, and I agree I would much prefer to talk in person, but you were the one that initially went on Busted Open and did what you did. You’re better than to do what you’re doing here and I’ve tried coming on Busted Open, but that was on you guys not letting me on or following up. Looking forward to talking eventually.”
While Mark Henry appears to have moved on from their past conflict, it is evident that Ryback has not. It remains to be seen whether Mark Henry will respond to Ryback’s plea for a meeting.
Ryback’s ongoing struggle with his past feud with Mark Henry highlights the complex and often personal nature of professional wrestling rivalries. The resolution of their issues could pave the way for a new chapter in their careers and offer insights into the dynamics of wrestling relationships.
