Natalya is one among some of the most prominent names in the women’s wrestling industry currently. The Guinness Book Record Holder’s contract with WWE is set to expire soon and has already hinted that she has no plans to retire from wrestling once her contract expires.
The veteran teamed up with Karmen Petrovic on the May 21 edition of WWE NXT where the duo defeated the team of Lola Vice and Shayna Baszler. While Vice and Baszler ended up as rivals by the end, with a match between both women set for NXT Battleground, Natalya and Petrovic celebrated her victory.
Following NXT, a fan sent a message to the veteran expressing his love for Natalya’s run in NXT. In response to the support, the veteran stated that she gave her best in every opportunity she got on WWE TV. She also stated that she wanted to continue the way things were going.
“When I get time and space to remind people of who I am and what I can do, I jump on it. I don’t take a second of this for granted.”
“I’m not someone who can rely on opportunities to come my way every week, so I need to make them count when they’re there. That’s what I’ve been laser focused on over the past several months. I’ve used my matches as statement pieces. I want it ALL and more.”
While there hasn’t been any update on Natalya’s contract extension, her re-signing with the company very soon won’t be a surprise. Ringside News will keep you updated if any new development comes out on Natalya’s contract.
