There have been a number of WWE superstars who have tested themselves on Hollywood waters lately. From Roman Reigns with an appearance in Fast and Furious: Hobbs & Shaw, to Seth Rollins with a potential appearance in Captain America: New World Order.

Drew McIntyre is also set to star in a Hollywood movie very soon. Not only that, but the star will feature alongside WWE legend Batista. Their movie, The Killer’s Game, has now got a release date. As reported by Deadline recently, the movie will make it to the big screens on September 13.

The movie, featuring the likes of Ice Cube and Terry Crews, revolves around an assassin who gets diagnosed with a life-threatening disease. To avoid all the pain from the illness, he authorizes a kill on himself. However, it then turns out that he was mis-diagnosed with people hunting to kill him.

While the Scottish Warrior’s role is yet to be unknown, with some big stars already casted for the movie, McIntyre having a small role won’t be a surprise. With an interesting plot and a stacked cast, a lot of anticipation has been built among fans for the movie. However, a trailer is yet to be released.
