The Monster Among Men, Braun Strowman is set to make his return to WWE televised action on RAW after making his dark match appearance recently, marking his first match in over a year on the red brand.
Braun Strowman underwent neck fusion surgery in June 2023 and returned to WWE television on the Night 2 of the WWE Draft 2024. Since his return, he has been involved in a feud with The Judgment Day.
On the May 20 edition of Monday Night RAW, the former WWE Universal Champion intervened in a tag team title match where McDonagh and Finn Balor of The Judgment Day challenged Awesome Truth. Carlito’s interference on behalf of The Judgment Day led to Strowman helping Awesome Truth retain their titles, with R-Truth pinning McDonagh after he fled from Strowman.
Damian Priest instructed JD McDonagh to request a match against Strowman from General Manager Adam Pearce later on in the show. The challenge was accepted, and the match was confirmed on RAW Talk for the May 27 edition of RAW next week.
RAW will be taking place at the EnMarket Arena in Savannah, Georgia, and will not only feature this anticipated match but will also cover the aftermath of WWE King & Queen of the Ring. Moreover, the event coincides with Memorial Day, adding a special significance to the show.
