AEW has developed a plethora of independent circuit stars into superstars in the past few years. While many have failed to deliver in the main event scene, a lot of names have managed to gain the attraction of millions around the world. One of the biggest names among those is the current AEW TBS Champion, Willow Nightingale.

Nightingale is set to face Mercedes Mone in dream match coming weekend at AEW Double or Nothing. While speaking to Bleacher Report recently, Nightingale was asked about her title run and her wrestling career. During the interview, she also addressed her plans outside the wrestling industry.

While wrestling was something she wasn’t ready to leave, Nightingale stated that she worked at a tattoo shop earlier and was ready to work at it again if she chose to leave wrestling. In  addition to that, the AEW TBS Champion also stated that she was ready to go back to school and have a degree in the future.

“I was on the indies for maybe six or seven years before wrestling became my full-time career. Before that, I was a piercer, so I worked at a tattoo shop. There was a piece of me that was like ‘Well I could always do this forever or I could open my own tattoo shop.’ And I do think about that from time to time. …Or to get extra knowledge on how to run my business if that is an avenue I want to embark on. But mainly I feel like I’m drawn to things where I can either help educate children or just generally bring that spark of Willow bubbliness to different events.”

While Willow Nightingale has planned a couple of things for herself if she left the wrestling industry, she seems to be a very good fit in here. With a few more big matches added to her portfolio, Nightingale could easily become one of the most popular stars in the industry.
