Mark Carrano made headlines for all the wrong reasons ever since he got fired from WWE after sending a trash bag to Mickie James containing her belongings. Gail Kim had previously mentioned that Carrano is not nice person whatsoever. In fact, Teddy Long has now accused Carrano of trying to take credit for his Hall of Fame induction.
Since Carrano’s firing, numerous current and former WWE talents have come forward, shedding light on his conduct within the company. Among them is Teddy Long, who didn’t mince words when discussing Carrano’s backstage demeanor.
During an episode of Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Teddy Long recounted an incident where Carrano allegedly misled him regarding his Hall of Fame induction.
“He called me that day about the Hall of Fame he said, ‘Yeah Teddy, we was all sitting down and we was having this meeting and I was sitting there with Vince [McMahon], and I yelled out over Vince and I said, Hey, Vince why don’t we put Teddy Long in?'” That piece of s**t ain’t tell Vince to put Teddy Long in no Hall of Fame.”
Teddy Long clarified that he was always aware that Vince McMahon ultimately made the call on Hall of Fame inductees, but Mark Carrano attempted to hog the credit.
“Vince doesn’t roll like that. He knows exactly who he wants in the Hall of Fame — that’s his call. Carrano rang me up acting like it was all him, but it never was. I knew who was in that meeting, and I talked to them… He pulled this kind of stuff on many folks. I can’t speak for everyone, but he’s just not truthful.”
Mark Carrano even allegedly hid sexual assault allegations. Regardless, Teddy Long definitely has pure disdain for Mark Carrano and it is certainly not hard to see why.
