MJF’s absence from AEW television has left wrestling fans speculating about his future. Since sustaining an injury at AEW’s Worlds End event, the popular wrestler has been notably missing from AEW programming. Reports suggest that MJF is taking time off to recover from his injuries and has been advised to avoid unnecessary risks to ensure he does not squander his unlimited potential.
MJF has been absent from TV since losing the AEW World Title at AEW Worlds End 2023. Despite his current hiatus, he remains a young talent with a promising career once he recovers from his injuries.
Arn Anderson, who has worked with MJF in AEW, believes MJF has unlimited potential in the wrestling industry, provided he takes care of his body. In an interview with Bill Apter of SportsKeeda WrestleBinge, Anderson warned MJF to not waste his unlimited potential by taking unnecessary risks.
“I think MJF is unlimited in what he can achieve in this business as long as — you gotta take less chances in this business. A lot of these guys take — and I’ve seen him do things that, were they spectacular? Yes. Were they athletic? Yes. Were they incredible? Yes. But did they particularly need it? I’m using him as an example, but it’s kind of across the board. You just don’t beat your body up. You only got one. To the point that, before you know it, you’ve had a brilliant five-year career.”
MJF’s in-ring return status has also been revealed, while he remains contemplating shoulder surgery. Nevertheless, MJF’s absence has already triggered significant shifts in AEW’s storytelling and programming and it remains to be seen when The Salt of The Earth will make his triumphant return.
