Giulia’s Targeted Opponent Revealed for WWE NXT Debut

Former STARDOM Giulia is set to join the Performance Center after collaborating with Rossy Ogawa to establish his new promotion, Marigold with her long-term schedule already being unveiled in the Black and Gold brand.

Several reports suggested that the target date for Giulia to make her WWE debut at the NXT Heatwave event on July 7. Despite speculation about her continued involvement with Marigold, which has scheduled its Summer Destiny event for July 13, WWE remains focused on introducing her at NXT Heatwave.

However, according to Fightful Select’s Corey Brennan, WWE plans for Giulia to face NXT Women’s Champion, Roxanne Perez in her debut match to have a huge impact upon the arrival of their latest signee.

“At this stage, all I know is WWE are targeting Heatwave w/ Roxanne as her NXT debut.”

Giulia competed at Marigold’s debut show “Fields Forever” on Monday, May 20, where she teamed with Utami Hayashishita in a losing effort against Bozilla and former NXT star Sareee (Sarray).

With speculated plans hinting at her debut against NXT’s top star, Roxanne Perez, it seems WWE is very much high on Giulia’s upcoming tenure and possibly envisioning her as the next breakout star of the developmental system.
