AEW has seen a ton of growth since its debut back in 2019 and this includes their overall production values, working with various other companies and delving into other mediums as well.
AEW and collectibles company Youtooz have joined forces to unveil a new set of figures. After teasing the collaboration earlier this month, it was officially announced today that “Lionheart” Chris Jericho, “Timeless” Toni Storm (available in both color and black and white versions), and Orange Cassidy will be featured in the first series of AEW Youtooz figures. Pre-orders for these figures will begin at 3 p.m. Eastern time on May 28.
Although the figures won’t ship until October 25-November 25, fans can expect them to stand between 4.5 to 4.8 inches tall, with each figure priced at $29.99. While the teaser for the AEW and Youtooz collaboration hinted at an MJF figure being included in the first series, MJF was notably absent from the figures announced today.
Youtooz, founded in 2019, initially focused on creating figures of internet personalities but has since expanded to collaborate with various brands, including Marvel, SpongeBob SquarePants, Peanuts, and Breaking Bad. The company’s mission is to “bring to life the most memorable moments and personalities that bring you joy,” offering collectibles to proudly display in various settings.
It’s worth noting that Youtooz figures are more akin to Funko Pops than traditional action figures, with Jazwares serving as AEW’s partner for the latter. We’ll have to wait and see whether they will end up selling like hotcakes in the end.
