Natalya has no plans to retire despite her WWE contract expiring soon. Known for her numerous matches and records in WWE, Natalya’s accomplishments have earned her a place in the Guinness Book of World Records and a likely future induction into the Hall of Fame. Despite her achievements, she still has goals she wants to accomplish in wrestling.
In a recent interview on Conversations with The Wrestling Classic, Natalya discussed her passion for wrestling, her current form, and her future aspirations. Natalya also hinted at facing other talents outside of WWE, ahead of her contract expiry.
“I want to still keep moving forward in the business. People say, ‘When’re you gonna slow down? When are you gonna retire?’ I feel like I’m in the best shape of my life, I’m doing the best work of my career. I just have so much more I want to do.“
“There are so many more women in the industry that I want to work with. Not just in WWE, but I want to work with Gail Kim. I want to work with Jordynne Grace. I see some of these Japanese girls that I admire so much. Some of them come and train with me, but one day, I want to work with these girls. There are girls from every corner of the industry that I’m like, I want to work with her. I want to wrestle the best.”
Natalya also emphasized her dedication to helping other wrestlers improve. Through The Dungeon 2.0, she and her husband, TJ Wilson, have assisted stars like Liv Morgan and Angelo Dawkins in honing their skills.
As a member of the legendary Hart family, Natalya’s connection to professional wrestling runs deep. The Hart family’s legacy, filled with triumphs and tragedies, could easily inspire a movie. Natalya has even suggested that Paul Walter Hauser would be an excellent choice to portray her father, Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart, in such a film.
