Mariah May isn’t giving up on Anthony Bowens. She kept reaching out to him this week, even calling him ‘her man’ before AEW Collision tonight.
Earlier this week, Bowens chatted with a fan on social media, talking about the good old days of visiting Blockbuster. He shared how much he loved browsing through physical movie collections, reminiscing about the experience.
This conversation caught the attention of fellow AEW star Mariah May. In a friendly gesture, she invited Bowens to her apartment, playfully suggesting he could discover Netflix as a modern alternative to traditional movie stores.
“I’m sorry you can’t go to the movie stores anymore 🥺🫶🏼. Maybe you can come around my apartment, and I’ll introduce you to Netflix? 💘💘,” May wrote.
Adding to the light-hearted interactions, Mariah May continued her social media engagement with Bowens. Ahead of tonight’s AEW Collision episode, she posted, “3 hours of @AEW starting at 8/7c on TNT! Don’t miss #AEWCollision & #AEWRampage & most importantly my man 😍,” along with a photo of Bowens posing shirtless in the water.
It’s worth noting that there is no romantic implication in May’s invitation. Bowens is openly gay and a strong advocate for LGBTQ+ representation in professional wrestling. He has expressed his aspiration to become the first AEW World Champion with a different sexual orientation, highlighting his commitment to breaking barriers and promoting inclusivity in the industry.
Mariah May, currently making her mark in AEW as a protégé of Timeless Toni Storm, is steadily climbing the ranks. Her gesture towards Bowens reflects the support that exists among peers in the AEW community.
Speaking of AEW Collision, the show was taped earlier this week. Full results and highlights from the show are available on Ringside News.
