Paul Walter Hauser is known to be one of the captivating movie stars, with incredible performances in Cobra Kai, 101 Dalmations, and his breakout role as the title character in the film Richard Jewell.

He made his wrestling debut in October 2023 that was followed up with a surprise ROH appearance and since that time, Paul Walter Hauser has fully immersed himself in the world of professional wrestling. On June 1, Hauser will compete in his first match for a major promotion, participating in the Battle Riot match for MLW.

In a recent interview with The Wrap, the popular actor and now also a wrestler, discussed his evolving aspirations in wrestling. Initially, he intended to wrestle only three to four times a year but has since adjusted his goals.

“After my first match with Matthew Palmer, I told my wife, ‘I’ll probably do this three or four times a year — quarterly.’ Then, after the Matt Cardona match, I said to her, ‘I think I’m going to do half a dozen matches a year. I’d love to wrestle on average maybe 10 times a year or even once a month. If it’s more than that, I’d need to ensure I have enough time with my family and that I’m being compensated fairly to justify it.”

Furthermore, Paul Walter Hauser also expressed openness to signing a contract with a promotion such as TNA, AEW, or MLW should the wrestling giants find his credibility worth as an in-ring performer.

“If TNA, AEW, or MLW wanted to sign me, I would seriously consider taking on a contracted role with one of them.”

Hauser has already proved his talents on the silver screen and the wrestling fans have also got a glimpse of his capabilities inside the squared circle. So we will have to wait and see for his first big event participation coming up and if offered a big contract by some of the top wrestling promotions in the future.
