Cody Rhodes met his new challenger for the Undisputed WWE Championship, Logan Paul, the current WWE United States Champion last week at the upcoming PLE, WWE King and Queen of the Ring in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

With the match announced by General Manager Nick Aldis last week, the champion and the challenger met on the May 17 of SmackDown for their explosive contract-signing confrontation to make their match at the Jeddah Superdome official.

Rhodes began by reflecting on the history of Jacksonville years ago including the first War Games match taking place there. While he called himself and the audience huge professional wrestling fans, Cody labeled Logan Paul as a mere ‘tourist.’

In response, Logan Paul tore up the original contract as it stated that he would also be slated to put his WWE United States Title at the PLE alongside Cody’s championship and sounded off on Nick Aldis with a contract drawn up from his own attorney.

After requesting Nick Aldis to let him take care of the situation, things escalated to a higher level with Cody Rhodes signing the contract brought by Logan Paul’s team and a brawl breaking out between him and Logan’s PRIME sidekicks as the match was made official.
