Injuries are commonplace in the world of professional wrestling and AEW is no different, as quite a few stars have suffered injuries over the past few years in the company. Unfortunately, it appears an AEW star is currently on the shelf due to a concussion.

AEW boasts a talent-laden roster spread across Dynamite, Rampage, Collision, and ROH programming. While praised for its impressive lineup, the promotion faces criticism for underutilizing some wrestlers. One such talent, Charlotte Renegade, is currently sidelined due to injury rather than booking decisions.

Charlotte Renegade, known for her tag team partnership with Robyn in The Renegades, was trained by QT Marshall at the Nightmare Factory. Robyn made her AEW debut at a May 2021 Dark: Elevation taping, with Charlotte joining in June 2023.

Charlotte’s last match was on December 23rd in an episode of ROH TV, where she teamed with Taya Valkyrie to defeat Kiera Hogan, Lady Frost, and Trish Adora in a trios bout. Since then, Robyn has been competing as a singles wrestler.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, Charlotte has been dealing with concussion issues that have kept her out of action. While she is working towards being cleared, there’s no definite timetable for her return to the squared circle, so it could be a long time until she’s back.

We will have to wait and see how Robyn will fare as a singles star until Charlotte Renegade is able to return to the ring, since Renegade had been on a roll before her unfortunate injury.
