Eddie Kingston has always been known for pushing his limits to entertain fans. However, during his recent bout at NJPW Global Resurgence, he sustained a major leg injury, leaving the fans worried for the former NJPW Strong Champion.

The extent of the injury became clear when it was announced that he would be unable to compete on AEW Dynamite this week. Kingston was later seen with knee brace, further highlighting the severity of the injury.

There were reports confirmed that Eddie Kingston suffered a legitimate knee injury during his match at NJPW Resurgence. He subsequently underwent medical testing to assess the damage. Eventually, much like he was pulled out of Dynamite, Kingston was also announced to be out of AEW Double or Nothing, leaving his team a member short in the Arena in an Anarchy match against The Elite.

According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Kingston indeed suffered a serious leg injury which was confirmed two days after it happened. This led to AEW revamping their plans for Dynamite this week and subsequently for Double or Nothing as well.
