AEW is gearing up for its most exciting and enthralling pay-per-view show that established its footing in the wrestling landscape, AEW Double or Nothing, set to take place at the MGM Grand on May 26 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The event, which got the ball rolling for AEW five years ago, will feature an extensive line-up of spectacular matches that will see top-tier AEW stars compete against each other in Sin City with another bout added to the proceedings.
During the recent AEW Collision tapings, Orange Cassidy was involved in a one-on-one showdown with Brother Zay with his former friend and now heated rival, Trent Beretta at ringside who ended the career of his best friend, Chuck Taylor as he himself announced last week.
The end of the bout saw Cassidy securing a victory over Brother Zay. Following the match, AEW interviewer Lexy Nair conducted an interview with Beretta, who accused Cassidy of cheating to win and challenged him to a ‘wrestling match’ at Double or Nothing. Orange Cassidy, not pleased with the response, reacted by striking Beretta, leading to a brief scuffle before they were separated, setting the stage for their clash at the upcoming AEW pay-per-view.
