Natalya has been a cornerstone of WWE’s women’s division since her debut in 2008, consistently maintaining a prominent presence throughout her tenure. However, her WWE contract is set to expire soon, marking an uncertain time in her illustrious career.
Natalya is someone WWE knows they can depend on to fulfil any role she is put to task, whether that’s as a heel, babyface or as mentor in NXT. With many contracts expiring this year, Natalya seems to be one of them.
While speaking on Fightful’s The Hump, Sean Ross Sapp talked about Natalya’s contractual status with WWE, noting that she is set to become a free agent in a couple of weeks.
“Nattie is still set to be a free agent in a couple of weeks.”
We had already reported that Natalya is still in talks with WWE but haven’t reached an agreement yet. Natalya’s decision not to renew her contract would be a significant loss, particularly for NXT, where she has been a valuable mentor to emerging talent. Her departure would leave a notable void, and fans will be eagerly watching to see what path she chooses next.
