Liv Morgan’s journey from being a sidekick in the Riott Squad to emerging as the most successful and top-caliber WWE superstar among her cohorts is nothing short of remarkable. However, her early days in the company were filled with self-doubt and imposed pressure due to her family’s struggles.

The Miracle Kid joined the company after being discovered by WWE while working at Hooters, where a connection with a wrestling coach helped her break into the industry. In a recent interview on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Morgan revealed that her early experiences in WWE were far more challenging than anticipated.

Moreover, Liv Morgan’s passion for wrestling began in her childhood, when she found joy in WWE programming despite her family’s financial struggles. Therefore, she was determined to support her family and thus added immense pressure on herself in the process, but despite her own early struggles as a competitor, she improved in her craft.

“I felt this enormous responsibility to succeed and help my family. I kept thinking, ‘I have to make it to WWE and change our lives.’ This pressure made every mistake feel like it could cost me my job. But over time, I improved steadily. It was a tough journey, much harder than I expected.”

Furthermore, as her talents began to shine through, Liv Morgan was called up to the main roster debut in 2016 as part of the Riott Squad alongside Ruby Riott and Sarah Logan who became a dominant trio.

Following their split, Morgan went on to achieve significant milestones, including winning the Money in the Bank, becoming a two-time Women’s Tag Team Champion, and capturing the SmackDown Women’s Championship despite a few legal setbacks.

She now has her eyes set on completing her ‘Liv Morgan Revenge Tour’ after returning from severe injuries a few months ago as she battles Becky Lynch for the WWE Women’s World Championship at WWE King and Queen of the Ring PLE coming up in two weeks in Saudi Arabia.
