With news circulating about the impending expiration of his WWE contract, Dijak, now part of the Raw brand after the 2024 WWE Draft, has addressed rumors regarding his feelings toward AEW’s Kenny Omega.
Despite reports hinting at Dijak’s potential move to All Elite Wrestling due to his contract status, the wrestler clarified his stance on Kenny Omega in response to a fan query.
In a quote tweet, Dijak set the record straight, stating that he never harbored any animosity toward Kenny Omega. He recounted their few interactions, including a friendly encounter and an incident where Omega super kicked him during their time in Ring of Honor.
Dijak further clarified that any previous comments he made about outwrestling Omega at PWG were merely playful banter. He emphasized his respect for Omega, acknowledging him as one of the best wrestlers in the world.
“I’ll clarify this because I think people misremember. I never hated Kenny. I met him a few times, he super kicked me once in ROH. He was always nice. One time he shit on NXT so I said I outwrestled him at PWG. For the record I’ve always said he’s one of the best in the world.”
As of now, Dijak has yet to make his debut on WWE Raw following the 2024 Draft. Meanwhile, Kenny Omega remains absent from AEW television following an assault by his former comrades in The Elite on the May 1 episode of AEW Dynamite.
