Former WWE Superstar Ryback is one of the most controversial names in pro wrestling right now, especially after his anti-WWE remarks over the years. He’s also not a big fan of Punk, and he claimed The Shied disliked Punk due to his incessant lies.

Punk collaborated with The Shield shortly before his departure from WWE in January 2014. Comprising Jon Moxley, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins, The Shield made their main roster debut in November 2012 by ambushing Ryback at Survivor Series, later aligning themselves with Punk.

While speaking on his Ryback TV show, Ryback alleged that Punk spoke negatively about him to The Shield behind the scenes. According to Ryback, the trio “saw through that” and immediately started disliking Punk.

“Moxley’s a great, stand-up guy,” Ryback said. “Moxley never cared for him. Moxley, he was there for all the lies Punk tried to tell him about me in The Shield when we started working. They all saw through that right away. That’s why none of those guys liked him.”

Ryback even went as far as to say his WWE return would be the greatest in of all time. Regardless, Ryback will never like CM Punk and that is simply something that will never change.
