Enzo Amore and Big Cass formed a highly popular tag team during their time in WWE, but both wrestlers were eventually released from the company, each for their own reasons. Amore was never lacking in confidence and he has now claimed he felt he was ready for WrestleMania on his first day in WWE.
It has been several years since Enzo Amore was fired by WWE due to allegations of sexual assault. After his release, Amore has occasionally competed in the independent circuit. In fact, he has been making big money in the independent scene.
Enzo Amore joined WWE in 2012, undergoing training at the Performance Center before debuting in October of that year. After over three years in NXT, he was promoted to the main roster.
In an interview with Inside the Ropes, The Realest Guy In The Room reminisced about his debut in NXT and boldly claimed that he was ready for WrestleMania from his first day in WWE.
“The first day on the microphone, I’m saying ‘Sawft.’ I’m not ready in the ring yet but I promise you, I was ready for RAW. I was ready for WrestleMania the first night on TV with that mic. I wasn’t scared, and I wouldn’t have been scared anywhere.”
Last year, Enzo Amore also claimed that he could do major ratings with Roman Reigns. Regardless, he is more than happy working in the independent circuit and that’s all that matters to him.
