Multiple Matches Announced for 5/21 WWE NXT

This week’s edition of WWE NXT saw the beginning of the road to crowning the first-ever NXT Women’s North American Champion at NXT Battleground, new opportunities for stars, and heated rivalries ready to be settled, setting the tone for next week’s show.

As the qualifying matches for the ladder match for the new NXT Women’s North American Championship began, the first two spots were captured and next week would see another two spots filled as Thea Hail is set to take on her former friend Fallon Henley and Brinley Reece would battle it out against Jaida Parker.

The dominant reign of NXT North American Champion Oba Femi will see a new challenger rise to the occasion as Josh Briggs, Ivar, and Wes Lee compete in a triple-threat match to earn an opportunity against him at NXT Battleground.

Finally, the ongoing rivalry between the duo of Lola Vice and her ally, Shayna Baszler, and their heated rivals, Natalya and Karmen Petrovich will come head-to-head as they compete in a highly anticipated tag team match next week.
