Ronda Rousey Receives Support for Speaking Out Against WWE

Ronda Rousey departed WWE following her SummerSlam match against Shayna Baszler last year. Since then, she has been open and candid about her tenure in the company, frequently sharing negative remarks about her WWE journey. Interestingly, Rousey has now received support for speaking out against WWE.

In case you forgot, Ronda Rousey had some strong words for Bruce Prichard and John Laurinaitis, expressing her frustrations by telling them to go ‘f*** themselves.’ Ronda Rousey even alleged that WWE discriminated against women.

In a recent episode of Story Time with Dutch Mantell, ex-WWE star Gail Kim praised Ronda Rousey for bringing significant mainstream attention to the wrestling industry. She also appreciated Rousey being so outspoken about her experiences in WWE and supported her for the same. Gail Kim simply couldn’t understand why Rousey’s remarks bothered so many people.

“Ronda, I never thought any ill will towards her being given this opportunity. She brought so many mainstream eyes to women’s wrestling and wrestling in general. And to be honest, I love her, and how vocal she is.” She continued, “I’m a little envious of how vocal she can be because that’s truly my nature. I love how strong of a woman she is. The things that turned her off or people were turned off by, I mean what were those things? Even when I’m thinking now, what were those things? That she was vocal? I don’t know.”

Ronda Rousey also wanted the same travel privileges as Roman Reigns. However, Rousey has been labeled bitter woman for her anti-WWE remarks, and it’s not hard to understand why. Regardless, Rousey is far more focused on her other career right now, so pro wrestling doesn’t really matter to her anymore.
