Powerhouse Hobbs faced Jon Moxley in a highly anticipated match for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship on the April 24, 2024, episode of AEW Dynamite. Unfortunately, it marked his last match for the foreseeable future due to a serious knee injury. Despite the setback, Powerhouse Hobbs has started intensive rehabilitation to recover from the injury.
In case you didn’t know, Powerhouse Hobbs had suffered knee injury during the match and it was expected to be very serious injury which would put him on the shelf for a long time. It was then reported that Powerhouse Hobbs would definitely require imminent surgery.
Powerhouse Hobbs took to Twitter and uploaded a video of himself, revealing that he has finally begun rehabilitation following knee surgery, notably patella tendon repair.

It also unfortunate that some fans accused Powerhouse Hobbs of getting injured multiple times, when this is only his first injury. Regardless, it remains to be seen Hobbs will be back on AEW television, as fans will definitely miss him.
