Kenny Omega had been sidelined due to diverticulitis for several months and won’t be back for a while, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t aware of what Triple H has been doing in WWE. In fact, Omega has acknowledged Triple H being open-minded to all forms of pro wrestling.
WWE’s Chief Content Officer Triple H has been at the helm of significant changes within the company since 2022. WWE has embraced what’s been dubbed “the Paul Levesque era” in light of these transformations. Despite not having worked directly with Triple H, Kenny Omega definitely has respect for The Game.
During a recent Twitch stream, Omega shared his thoughts on Levesque as a creator. While he couldn’t pinpoint specific angles solely booked by the former WWE Champion, Omega appreciates Triple H’s openness to different styles of professional wrestling.
“Everyone seems to know just what he is booking and what he isn’t booking. Even as a wrestler who has kind of like an inside track, I don’t know what his ideas are,” said Omega. “I don’t know what’s a result of just what comes from his brain and his brain alone, so I can’t comment to that. What I do appreciate is that he’s open-minded to all the styles of the world of wrestling. I think I’m sure he probably prefers one over the other or some over others, but I like that he’s giving everything a shot.”
Kenny Omega also hinted at potential reinvention of his persona upon his return to the ring. Regardless, it’s great to see The Best Bout Machine acknowledge Triple H’s contributions to WWE’s growth and that’s all that matters.
