WWE and UFC, two of the supreme giants in the world of combat sports merged under one parent company, TKO Group Holdings last year bringing onboard top tier management personnel from both entities on the new board.

Since then, there has been a lot of exchange of talent with WWE and UFC superstars making appearances on each other’s shows, with the most recent being WWE veteran Randy Orton being in attendance for UFC Fight Night in St Louis, Missouri.

During the UFC St Louis post-show press conference, the promotion’s President Dana White revealed that many UFC fighters have always dreamed about having a WWE match at some point.

Moreover, he would be open to the idea of letting his UFC fighters make WWE appearances in the future. Dana White also added that he was not opposed to the idea when even former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon was in charge of the corporate structure.

“Some of the fighters that fight here have always dreamed about doing a WWE match or whatever it is, I don’t have a problem with that. I didn’t have a problem with that when Vince was consistently f*cking me for no reason and now that’s not the case anymore, obviously I’d absolutely do it.”

As it is known, WWE NXT is set to host its special show, NXT Battleground at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Furthermore, with Dana White also giving the green signal for the WWE UFC crossover that fans have been anticipating since the merger, we will have to wait for the right time and place for these dream showdowns to come to fruition.
