Brock Lesnar’s daughter Mya Lesnar has once again made waves in the world of track and field. Currently a junior at Colorado State University, she proudly represents the Rams’ track and field team.
Recently, during the 2024 Mountain West Outdoor Championship, Mya showcased her exceptional talent among her fellow student-athletes. Her contribution was pivotal in securing the Rams’ women’s track and field team’s fifth consecutive Mountain West title and their second consecutive outdoor championship win.
Notably, Mya clinched both the Women’s Field and Women’s Track Performer of the Meet titles after smashing her own school shot put record with a throw of 19.08 meters. This surpassed her previous record of 19.07 meters, set earlier this year at the New Mexico Don Kirby Invitational.
Mya’s journey to athletic excellence began to gain attention last December when she established herself as Colorado State’s indoor shot put record holder with an impressive throw of 18.50 meters. However, her record was short-lived as she surpassed it just two months later, throwing 19.07 meters in New Mexico, with her proud father Brock Lesnar in attendance.
At 22 years old, Mya is poised to enter her senior year with the Rams with unwavering determination. Beyond collegiate competitions, there are whispers of even greater aspirations. We’ll have to wait and see whether she will end up following in her father’s footsteps one day.
