Billy Gunn Defends Tony Khan Against Trolls Who Try to Undermine Him

Tony Khan fell victim to an attack by The Elite and there’s no doubt it’s the hottest angle in AEW right now. Despite this, there are tons of people who continue to mock and troll Khan. With that said, Billy Gunn has now defended Khan from all the trolls.

Billy Gunn has worked for Vince McMahon, Dixie Carter and now obviously Tony Khan. While speaking during recent interview with Bill Apter of Sportskeeda WrestleBinge, Billy Gunn shared his perspective on working with Tony Khan and why it’s so easy for him.

Gunn stated that his experience with Khan has been straightforward, as he gave emphasis to the simplicity of their working relationship. He also addressed critics who attempt to undermine Khan, suggesting that their opinions stem from a lack of direct experience working with Tony Khan.

“Easy. It’s easy,” he said. “[Trolls only say what they do] because they don’t work for him. You know how it is, everybody has an opinion out there which means absolutely nothing. Until you’ve walked in my shoes. Don’t tell me how to walk in them.”

There is also doubt Tony Khan will actually wrestle as part of his storyline with The Elite. Nevertheless, Billy Gunn is more than happy working with Tony Khan and that’s all that matters to him.
