There’s an update regarding the airing of the untelevised matches from the WWE King and Queen of the Ring tournaments.
The 2024 King and Queen of the Ring Tournaments commenced on this week’s Raw and SmackDown shows, featuring three matches from each tournament on both nights.
On Raw, Gunther, Ilja Dragunov, Jey Uso, IYO SKY, Lyra Valkyria, and Zoey Stark emerged victorious, while on SmackDown, Tama Tonga, Carmelo Hayes, Randy Orton, Jade Cargill, Nia Jax, and Bianca Belair advanced to the next round.
The final matches of the first round, LA Knight vs. Santos Escobar and Kofi Kingston vs. Rey Mysterio in the King of the Ring, and Shayna Baszler vs. Zelina Vega and Tiffany Stratton vs. Michin in the Queen of the Ring, are scheduled to occur at untelevised live events this weekend.
In an update provided on the SmackDown LowDown today, WWE has officially confirmed that the SmackDown brand matches featuring Knight vs. Escobar and Stratton vs. Michin will take place at tonight’s WWE live event in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
As for the Raw matches, they are set to unfold at tomorrow night’s live event in Macon, Georgia.
