In the past few days, several top executives from WWE have been fired for some reason or the other. Among the list of names, Senior Director of TV Event Relations, Steve Rubin, was also announced to part ways with the company. Rubin was a part of the company for 26 years which ended with his release recently.
Taking it to social media, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair blasted off WWE calling it the most unprofessional move he has ever seen. However, amidst his anger for WWE, he has also sent out a tweet thinking AEW directly after.
The WWE Hall of Famer thanked Tony Khan for letting him in the company and subtly revealed that he was given immense respect backstage by members in the company. However, he also took a shot at WWE for firing people that have been in the company for so long.
“Thank You @TonyKhan For Letting Me Be Part Of @AEW, And I’m Very Consciously Sensitive To The Loyalty And Respect Shown To The People That Are Part Of Your Life. I’m So Thankful To Be Part Of It! WOOOOO!”
Ric Flair is clearly enjoying his time in AEW and might continue making regular appearances at the show like he is doing right now. However, having the activities he has at this age seems to be out of the park. Ringside News will keep you updated with the latest updates from WWE.
