Becky Lynch’s WWE Future Hangs in the Balance as Expiry Date Nears

Becky Lynch holds the coveted position of World Champion, yet her future with WWE hangs in the balance.

According to a report by Fightful Select last year, Becky Lynch’s contract is set to expire in June 2024. Since then, speculation about her next move, as well as that of her husband Seth Rollins, has been rampant. Recently, It was revealed that Rollins has inked new, lucrative, multi-year contract with WWE. However, Lynch remains without a new deal.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select has confirmed that Lynch is still operating under her previous contract and has not yet signed a new agreement, despite holding the Women’s World Champion title. Discussions regarding a potential new deal have been ongoing. However, as it stands, Lynch’s contract with WWE is due to expire in approximately three weeks.

Currently, Lynch is slated to defend her Women’s World Title at WWE King and Queen of the Ring against Liv Morgan just before her contract is set to lapse.
