Tony Khan fell victim to an attack by The Elite and last week The Elite announced that they would be taking over Khan’s role and running the show themselves. After the events of Dynamite this week, The Young Bucks once again imitated Tony Khan’s signature tweets.
During this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Kenny Omega made a surprise appearance via satellite from the hospital, recovering from the injuries he sustained last week. He acknowledged The Bucks’ statement that their attack was purely a business decision. As an EVP, Omega said he was ready to take care of business.
Omega then announced a high-stakes 4-on-4 Anarchy In The Arena tag team match for AEW Double or Nothing, featuring The Elite versus Team AEW. The team members for AEW were revealed to include FTR, along with Bryan Danielson and Eddie Kingston.
Following the conclusion of AEW Dynamite, The Young Bucks took to Twitter and once again mimicked Tony Khan’s stereotypical tweets as they thanked Canada.
”What a great show, everyone! Canada, love ya to death. Thanks so much! #theELITE”
We will have to wait and see how AEW will continue to book The Elite and Team AEW’s feud in the coming weeks, as it has become evident the company is going all out with the storyline.
