Injuries are commonplace in WWE and professional wrestling, leading to premature retirements for many athletes. One such individual is Corey Graves, who has been out of competition for a long time due to injury. However, recent footage showed Graves performing impressive wrestling moves during a sparring session, hinting at a possible return to the ring.
Corey Graves had a promising wrestling career in NXT, showcasing his talent and dedication to the business. He made a significant impact, especially as a tag team champion with Adrian Neville (now known as PAC), capturing the NXT Tag Team Championships. Unfortunately, in 2014, Graves had to retire due to multiple concussions, raising questions about whether he could ever return to the ring.
Graves’ final match was at WrestleMania Axxess nine years ago, where he faced Troy McClain. His early retirement marked the end of his in-ring career, but he later transitioned into a successful role as a WWE commentator, where he remains a prominent voice in the wrestling world.
Corey Graves’ brother Sam Adonis took to Twitter and uploaded a video of himself alongside Corey Graves, as the two engaged in a sparring session. In the video, Graves could be seen moving well in the ring, as he even performed an STO for good measure.
”A few months back, myself and @WWEGraves had a bit of a sparing session. He’s still got it! One of these days… 😉”
Corey Graves has become a standout commentator, but this video of him practicing wrestling moves has sparked new hope among fans that he might return to the ring. Therefore, we’ll have to wait and see if he will ever step back inside the squared circle again.
