The long-standing feud between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre hit a critical point during this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. CM Punk took the opportunity to unleash a series of scathing comments, making it clear that when it comes to mind games and verbal jabs, McIntyre could never match his level of pettiness.
During this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, CM Punk and Drew McIntyre narrowly missed crossing paths, with McIntyre driving off just as Punk arrived at the arena. Punk clearly didn’t care as he made his way out to the ring and decimated Drew McIntyre with a scathing promo.
In a Raw Exclusive interview, CM Punk was asked where this game of cat and mouse would lead. The Straight Edge Savior made it clear that Drew McIntyre hasn’t got what it takes to beat him in a game of pettiness.
“It ends with me breaking his face. This isn’t me being a nice guy anymore. This is about him taking time off my career. This is about him potentially ruining a WrestleMania moment for me, and me wanting to show him that he picked a very personal fight with the pettiest man on the roster that he can’t possibly win. I’ve fought big guys before. I’ve been beaten up. Psychologically, he cannot hurt me, and I’m gonna break his heart.”
Drew McIntyre also burned a photo of CM Punk after Monday Night RAW this week. Nevertheless, we will have to wait and see how WWE will continue to build their feud in the coming weeks.
