Swerve Strickland’s rapid ascent in AEW has been very remarkable, showing off his outstanding in-ring skills and charisma. As the reigning AEW World Champion, he stands ready to kick it up a notch.
Swerve Strickland has been given the creative freedom to fuse pop culture with wrestling in ways reminiscent of the industry’s boom during the 2000s. He’s collaborated with artists like Fabolous, Rick Ross, and Kevin Gates. He also has his own sneaker line coming out and is working on a project with Flash Garments, who joined him during his walkout at Wembley Stadium alongside DJ Whoo Kid.
According to Uproxx, it was revealed that Swerve Strickland has a documentary series in progress, which started filming around the time of his match at World’s End against Dustin Rhodes.
”Strickland has a documentary series in the works, which began filming around the time of his match at World’s End against Dustin Rhodes.”
Swerve Strickland also got a major vote of confidence from Tony Khan. Regardless, Strickland is currently focused on his upcoming AEW World Title defense against Christian Cage at AEW Double or Nothing, so we’ll have to wait and see how that will turn out.
