Lyra Valkyria Advances In The Queen Of The Ring Tournament On 5/6 WWE Raw

The WWE Draft 2024 is officially in the books now with the new rosters in effect starting tonight on the 5/6 WWE Raw episode. With the new rosters in effect, Lyra Valkyria was one of the very few NXT women who were brought up to main rosters during the Draft this year. 

On her first day on the main roster, Valkyria was supposed to face a massive challenge in the form of former Women’s Champion Asuka in the Queen of the Ring tournament first round match. However, Dakota Kai announced that she would replace Asuka who was injured.

In an entertaining match Valkyria managed to pick up a win against Dakota Kai to leave the world shocked. With her victory, the former NXT star moves forward in the Queen of the Ring tournament.

While Valkyria managed to pick up a win against Kai here, the dominance of Damage CTRL would be something the Valkyrie should stay away from. However, having ruined Dakota Kai’s opportunity to move forward, the faction might not leave the newest Raw member alone so easily.
