GUNTHER Advances in the King of the Ring Tournament on 5/6 WWE RAW

WWE Universe was astonished to witness two absolute banger bouts between GUNTHER and Sheamus for the WWE Intercontinental title two years ago at WWE Clash at the Castle and SmackDown with their matches being some of the most amazing sights of wrestling to witness in history.

Tonight’s edition of Monday Night RAW saw The Ring General, flanked by his Imperium cohort Ludwig Kaiser and The Celtic Warrior compete against each other one more time. However, the stakes were higher yet again as the opportunity to become the King of the Ring at the name-sake event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia hung in the balance.

As every member of the WWE Universe expected, it was nothing short of another banger that the fans witnessed in Cardiff, Wales two years prior. The superheavyweights hit each other with heavy punches, thundering moves, and signatures, producing another ‘Match of the Year’ candidate. Moreover, the field was evened out after the referee tossed Ludwig Kaiser from the ringside after catching him red-handedly interfering in the match.

The high-stakes match came to its conclusion after a hard-hitting battle that had the crowd erupt in ‘This is Awesome’ chants when GUNTHER had Sheamus locked in the half-Boston crab leg submission on his already injured leg. Sheamus endured as much as he could, but eventually tapped out giving The Ring General the win who now advances in the tournament.
