Bray Wyatt made a memorable return to WWE during Extreme Rules in 2022, much to the delight of his fans. Tragically, he passed away in 2023, leaving behind an iconic legacy in the world of professional wrestling. However, there’s concern that a rumored new faction could tarnish Wyatt’s legacy.
As previously reported, the QR codes and production glitches seen on WWE programming are all building up to the introduction of a new group connected to Bray Wyatt’s intellectual property. This new faction is said to include Bo Dallas, Nikki Cross, Dexter Lumis, Joe Gacy, and Erick Rowan.
On Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Writing With Russo, Vince Russo raised concerns about the concept of a new faction in WWE intended to honor a legacy. Russo warned that if the execution isn’t successful, it could negatively impact the legacy they aim to honor.
“This is very, very, very, very dangerous because what they are attempting to do I tip my hat to,” Russo said. “They are looking to honor his legacy, and I tip my hat for that, bro. I give them credit for that. I don’t have a problem with that. But, Chris, this is a slippery slope if it’s not good because if it’s not good they will tarnish his legacy. And, bro, I’m just going on track record alone. I don’t have confidence, bro, in WWE creative. I don’t.”
The rumored faction with Bo Dallas, Nikki Cross, Dexter Lumis, Joe Gacy, and Erick Rowan promises a unique combination of talents, each with their distinct style. Fans are eagerly anticipating the chaos and intrigue this new group could bring. We’ll have to see if it ends up blowing up in their faces in the end.
