WWE Backlash 2024 Preview: Confirmed Matches, Start Time and How to Watch

WWE is gearing up for another major event after the tremendous success of WrestleMania 40. This week Backlash is set to take place, and it’s clear that fans are eagerly anticipating the show in a big way.

The Backlash Premium Live Event will be taking place on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at the LDLC Arena in Lyon-Decines, France. The kickoff show will begin at 12 PM ET while the main show starts at 1 PM ET. Fans in the US can stream the event on Peacock and international fans can watch it on the WWE Network.

Multiple titles are at stake on the show. After his big win against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40, Cody Rhodes is set to defend the Undisputed WWE Title against AJ Styles. The history between Styles and the Rhodes family goes back to their TNA Wrestling days. Styles, with his newly aggressive persona, aims to cut Rhodes’ title reign short.

Additionally, the World Heavyweight Title will be on the line. Damian Priest, who cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase to win the title at WrestleMania, faces top contender Jey Uso. Uso is seeking to establish himself as a major force in WWE following his high-profile role with The Bloodline. Other matches include Kevin Owens and Randy Orton squaring off against Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga.

Bayley will also defend her WWE Women’s Championship against Tiffany Stratton and Naomi in a triple threat match, while Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair will challenge The Kabuki Warriors for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.
