WWE Referee Daphanie LaShaunn Hits Back at Fans for Misogynistic Remarks

Life in the world of professional wrestling is not an easy one, as there are always tons of adversities one must deal with in the industry. WWE referee Daphanie LaShaunn knows that all too well and she has now hit back at fans for using misogynistic remarks.

Daphanie LaShaunn made her way to WWE back in 2021 and wasted no time showing how well she can perform as a referee. She has been part of numerous important matches in recent memory.

Daphanie LaShaunn took to Twitter and expressed her frustration at fans telling her she should smile more. She added that this also applies to comments like “Why do you look so irritated?” when she’s holding a straight face, which is common among referees at work. She asked people to stop making such comments, adding that it’s pure misogyny.

”Next person to tell me I should smile more while doing my job is getting blocked. Same applies for “why do you look so irritated?” when I’m holding a straight face like ALL the refs do when we do our job… Stop playing with me. Sick and tired of being sick and tired.

It is simply a shame that Daphanie LeShaunn has to deal with such comments on a daily basis when she is simply doing her job, so we hope she never has to deal with such incidents ever again.
