WWE Botches Bayley’s Entrance at WWE Backlash France Kick-Off Show

WWE is only twenty-four hours away from producing its first Premium Live Event in Lyon, France, Backlash is set to take place at the LDLC Arena, also the sight of the WWE Backlash Kick-Off show to hype the event.

The first segment of the show following the appearance of WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque saw the three competitors of the WWE Women’s title match for Backlash, Tiffany Stratton, Naomi, and champion Bayley take center stage.

Amidst the verbal back-and-forth that took place between Tiffany and Naomi, Bayley’s music hit and out the champion came much to the delight of the fans who already were hyped for her appearance before she came up on the stage.

However, a major botch was noticed upon Bayley’s arrival. As soon as Bayley came on the stage, a graphic barring her name and champion status was accompanied by the NXT Women’s title instead of the title she actually holds, the WWE Women’s Championship.

Despite the mix-up, Bayley had a positive reception from the crowd in attendance and seems laser-focused on making her first successful title defense against both Tiffany Stratton and Naomi at WWE Backlash France.
