AEW Dynasty was a terrific show for fans but the company is already planning for their next pay-per-view, Double or Nothing. They haven’t announced many matches yet but now some possible matches for the card have been revealed.
A huge match that was already confirmed for the Double or Nothing pay-per-view will see Mercedes Mone squaring off against Willow Nightingale for the TBS Championship, in what will be the CEO’s in-ring debut.
It was also confirmed that Swerve Strickland will be defending the AEW World Championship against Christian Cage, which will likely be the main event of Double or Nothing.
According to Dave Meltzer in The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was suggested that a match between Adam Copeland and Malakai Black might be on the card. Other likely competitors include The Young Bucks, Kazuchika Okada, and Jack Perry, with FTR potentially getting involved as well.
”I’m thinking Copeland vs. Malakai Black will be there. The Young Bucks, Okada & Jack Perry will obviously be there in some form and FTR will likely be involved with them a well.”
AEW Double or Nothing will be taking place during Memorial Day weekend on May 26, 2024, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Therefore, we’ll have to wait and see what other matches AEW will confirm for the show.
