WWE fans have been captivated by cryptic clues and screen glitches hinting at an upcoming storyline twist involving the return of Bo Dallas as ‘Uncle Howdy.’ Recently, Matt Hardy got involved in the angle after his AEW contract expired, adding to the mystery. He has since addressed his own involvement in the angle as well.

During the April 30 edition of WWE NXT, a QR code appeared on screen during a match between Shawn Spears and Ridge Holland. When scanned, it directed viewers to a cryptic video featuring messages such as “They were broken,” “I accepted them,” and “We can be family.”

This led to speculation about a possible reference to Matt Hardy, given the use of the word “broken.” Hardy himself added fuel to the rumors by sharing an image of the QR code on social media.

In a recent episode of The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, Hardy was asked about the tease. Matt Hardy simply stated that he had noted that he and Bray Wyatt have a lot of history but didn’t reveal his intention behind his recent involvement in the QR code angle.

“I did catch that. Interesting, very very interesting. I have a very long and storied history with Windham Rotunda, Bray Wyatt, so I think it’s cool how the word broken somehow slipped in there. Who knows, anything can happen in the extreme life of Matt Hardy.”

Ringside News has also exclusively reported Matt Hardy’s status with WWE while he tries to involve himself in the storyline. Only time will tell whether Hardy will actually make his way to WWE this year.
